Default Paper gasket info needed

I'm looking to make a paper gasket for my intake manifold can anyone point be to a good sheet 6"x18" or so?

It needs to seal well with little pressure

Would an 8.5" x 11" sheet work? Use the back of a steno legal pad I've used that thick carboard stuff for making thermostat housing gaskets all the time. Works like a champ.

Well wont the legal pads absorb the oil deteriorate?

I noticed sheets over at the local parts store but I learned a less about cheap gaskets when I had some headers for 350.

Ehhh, it's a little bigger than 8X10 (white sheet of paper for comparison only , white paper doesn't come with gasket material (16 cents extra)).

PM me your address, I'll mail it out to ya...that is if you are okay giving me your address.
