In your case, if you want to keep the UD pulley, I'd go to the 34" radiator with electric fans. The UD pulley has slowed down your water pump & your radiator fan.

In my opinion first you should find the problem, is it from the ODP or something else.

yes this is correct, when im sitting still idleing it instantly starts heating up and it just keeps going untill i start moving.... it acts like my clutch fan isn't working, but i checked it and its good. if i put electric fans with stock radiator i don't know if it would help.. what do you guys think? i just don't feel like pulling the pulley back off it was kinda a pain in the *** lol i just can't believe noone has ever came across this issue before!!!

Remove the pulley (JMO)....there's a REASON GM put the size pulley on the truck that they did.

Not really, if you think about it.....

Why install a UD pulley in the first place? The answer is to reduce drag on the crank, to free up hp.

If you are trying to reduce drag on the crank, to free up hp, the FIRST thing that should be done(that makes the biggest difference) is get rid of the fan clutch and get electric fans. The UD pulley is supposed to be step 2.

Getting rid of the fan clutch makes a more noticeable difference than the UD pulley, but both done together is a nice combo.

I really want to keep it because I did notice a diff in power, I just can't decide if it's running hotter because the fans running at less rpm's or if it's the water pump not moving the colant fast enough... If it's water pump I don't think electric fans would help... If it's the fan then it would solve my problem. I'm getting the truck dynoed Tuesday so I might do a b4 and after test

I believe it would be the fan, just based on the fact that I haven't heard of this problem on any cars with Efans.

Put on electric fans. Really. Just do it and get it over with.

You'd fix your cooling issue, AND get a few hp. You'll see the diff on your temp gauge, and you'll FEEL the difference in performance.
