Doubt its the oil weight

Are they OE sensors? How are they failing? How are you installing them, and to what torque value?

I'd start with an OE sensor, installed with the appropriate socket and 15 ft/lbs. The spec might be 17lbs, I will look for you tonight. Make sure the linked sensor is appropriate for you application

Buy the AC Delco sensor and the sensor socket to install. My LQ9 with a two year old Delco oil sensor sees 6600 RPM quite often running Mobile 1 0W-40 Euro (highest ZZDP non racing oil)

When my motor was fresh my delco sensor failed after the very first oil change. I replaced it with another brand from O’rileys that was brass. Seemed better quality than the aluminum delco part. I was running Amsoil 10-40 and switched to 0-40 since.
