Default Oil pressure problems.

I recently did a cam swap on my 5.3L from stock to the Texas speed chop monster cam. Got everything back together with new lifters, pushrods, and valve springs. It started right up (still needs a tune however). Everything seems normal exept that my oil pressure guage is reading 0 and a "check engine oil pressure" light on. I let it idle for around 30 seconds with no change to either the light or guage. Anyone have an idea on where I messed up?

Did you plug the sensor back in?

yes I did. I think maybe it was broken during intake installation? If not that could it be that I have only had it idling? I'm at a bit of a loss

Replace sensor. I bet that break in lube clogged the sensor
