Default Noob with a mustang Gt

Just wanted to get some advice,
i was finally able to save enough cash to buy a mustang gt 2014 cash it came stock as it should.
as i am barely getting into this world of performance are there any bolt mods i can do right away, or is there any shops in houston tx that specialized in mustangs that you guys can point out. The ppl i have asked are usually only knowledgeable in gm performance trucks. And i dont really much about the shops in houston

Your best bet would be to join a forum dedicated to mustangs, especially the S197. You’ll just have to wade through the bullshit I imagine is on there.

I know a guy in houston that can LS or LT swap your mustang. It's probably the best bolt on for a mustang.

2014 has the 5.0, which is actually not a bad motor

Yeah I smoked a kid in a 14-17 GT in my loaded work truck. He was ready. Gave me a big thumbs up...all in good fun.

That 5.0 is actually very badass. I don't keep up with what years came with which motors. If it has the coyote engine it is a keeper.

It's really not too shabby. Stock they feel really weak till the rpms get up there and then they take off.

Been fighting a clutch in a MT82 for awhile now. Those are not fun to work on at all.

He wants me to get him a price on doing a turbo 5.3 on E85 in it with a TH400 or 4l80. His brother and cousins out run him all the time and he wants to go mess with them.
