its a fast knockoff i bought from ebay, kindve kicking myself in the *** for that dumb move it but what can ya do. intake is a tbss intake manifold thatll soon be ported. truck runs strong it just wont cold start worth a hell. itll idle once warm but first cold start its like starting a carbureted car with no choke lol

I had to make the idle air ports bigger on my 102. It could not flow enough air for a cold engine, fine when warmed up.

hmm wonder if ill have to do that too. if my tuner cant get it to idle ill probably end up just going that route. but definitley sounds like the same problem im having. sounds like ive got blower surge when its warming up and is starting to idle and then smooths out. then again with your specs youve got a LOT more motor than i do

Had same issues. I think i ended up with a ebay 90mm thinkin it was a nick williams. Well long story short it done the same thing. Idle surge and what not. Swapped to an actual nw 90mm and she idles like factory truck.

By the way this is a h/c/i 6.0 with a big cam and nelson mail order tune. Swap back to your old tb and see if it helps.

damn i was really hoping it was just tune related but sounds like this cheap pos is the problem..sad shipping on it is more than i paid for it back to the seller. as for the stock tb it idles fine since thats what it was tuned on, ive also got a pretty stout cam but on the old tune it ran like a champ. guess well see what happens at the track next sunday lol
