Default new tb/idle issues

just ordered 92mm dbc throttle body and threw it on the truck. ive done an iac and tps relearn(no codes, tps at 0%) etc and when its a cold start itll turn over attempt to idle and then die. when the truck is warm itll start and idle just fine, but i have noticed itll occasionally surge. figured id try to shoot some carb and choke cleaner around the iac port and where the tb meets the intake manifold to see if theres any vaccum leaks. if its none of the above could it be from the tune etc?

thanks in advance

tj

have no leaks, did the fast procedure saying to adjust the idle screw to where it has no bind and has the smallest area of light shown through tps and iac relearn and still the same cold start issue...

Might need to drill a little hole in it, but I'll let an expert give you the inside scoop haha

Not sure on dbc but dbw you have to tell the PCM that the tb is bigger. Along with that you may have to tune the raf table also. Sure the computer can do its own work to a point to give you ltit and stit but the closer you have them to null the better off you will be.

The tune needs tweeked, just typed out what to do only to realize you dont tune it. Don't drill a hole! That is a last step deal and should only be needed on large CI big cam motors.

This is correct, your running airflow most likely needs tweaked in the Colder regions of the table.
