Are you using stock 25lb/hr truck injectors? If so, they will not support the power you are looking for.

Yes they are the stock injectors. I was thinking i have a fuel issue. At wot it surges (it pulls harder then stutters then pulls again). I just got my tax return in so ill be putting new injectors with a fast lsxrt. Hopefully that fixes my issue. My tuner did say that injectors were maxxed out, but I want to know what the problem is and understand it. keep the thoughts coming please...

You need at least a 31 Lb injector to support 400HP. With N20 You may want go larger. Make sure you have a good Fuel pump Too!!! You don't want the pressure to drop at WOT and lean it out.

So wait if the engine was stuttering and all, didn't your tuner have sense enough to look at the AFR during the pull?

Its more i dont get how injectors cause a 50 horse power difference. I get the general rule more air plus more fuel= more power. It looks like the truck injectors max out at 325-350. this explains the stutering at wot, but i cant see 50 horse in an injector swap. The only sensors that were not changed were the o2's. Ill keep digging!

Ill see if i can get access to the data, but im blind right now. my gut tells me tune and fuel should get me right. Its just my first build and im over my head. I would like someone to take a look at the tune in houston if its at all possible.

If your injectors cannot supply enough fuel, then the engine will not make the power it is capable of.
