Never heard of these: L188 LS1 heads?

Any idea on how these heads will do on an all iron LQ4 motor? I was originally going to leave the stock iron heads but I met this guy in person and I can get the heads for much less than he's asking on craigslist.
Worth it or no for a lifted truck? Also I noticed the combustion chambers are smaller, which is good because I'm trying to being the compression up close to the 10:1 range.

they're stock LS1 5.7 heads. Center bolt valve covers. You can tell by the little notch that they have halfway on the out side of the heads, on the bottom sides
Be sure to use the graphite gasket and not the MLS gaskets with those heads. The older style 6.0 use the same head gaskets.
They a cheep head . . . . they go for $100 bucks at shops unless they've had some port work done to them.

Too bad I didn't know you were from the Minneapolis area, I had a totally mint set of 317's I just sold recently that would have outflowed those LS1 heads you're looking at. PM Sent

Also if you have a reputable shop around the twin cities that does machine work on LSx blocks I'd love to hear of suggestions. The only place I've ever gone with block work is a Roseville shop but they don't have much experience with Gen III/IV blocks at all. I'm looking to deck the surface to clean up the head gasket seal, bore .030" over to clean up the cylinders, install the cam bearings for me and check for all the usual cracks, stress risers and imperfections.
