what does it come out to with 5.3 heads on a 6.0? It's been so long since I did that math I can't remember. I ran some sweet p&p 6.0 heads on my 4.8 rcsp with a 224/228 it was a bad ****, would have been killer on boost...

close to 12:1 I believe

6.0 heads would be great heads on 5.3/4.8 for serious boost

4.8 and 5.3 don't make a lot of torque
I know all the accessories will be direct swap, but swapping a 6.0 and turbo will cost me more than just a turbo on my current engine. Above that, cam swap and the supporting parts along with it. Thanks for the help

If I had to swap in a 6.0 what should I go with? Junk yard 6.0 or 0 miles rebuild short block or long block?
Thompson motor sport is making 370 lq9 and lq4 short, and long blocks with a verity of internals setups. Anybody have had them?

I just put in a Thompson motorsports 370 LQ9. Forged pistons and rods. I don't have many km's on it yet but so far so good.

My compression is 10.8:1 with 799 casting heads from my 5.3. Installed on my LQ9.

What crank, pistons, and rods are used? Did you get it short or long block? Not many people in this forum are running them, most of threads I read here and there are recommending tsp blocks. What are your plans on this forged motor?

Why did you choose to run 5.3s heads over 243, or ls3 heads? What cam do you have?
