Default Need some help on parts

I have a killer deal on some comp 918s, pushrods, and titanium retainers. My question is what are some things to look for to prove these parts are legit. What color stripe on the 918s are the most recent and desireable also dont laugh but is there any markings or any easy way to tell if the retainers are titanium. The guy says he has all the original boxes but that you know how that could go any help would be appreciated.

Bring a steel retainer to compare the weight, Ti at half the weight will be noticeable. If you can't feel an obvious weight difference and it is still non-magnetic, or slightly magnetic, it's stainless steel. I don't know if they make stainless retainers.
