Default Need help bad

I just finished up my cam headers and stall install and went to fire my truck up. The first time it fired up just fine. But I turned it off and tried to start it again and it turns over and just dies. Anybody know why it's doing that or what it could possibly be? Also my speedometer is pegged out and won't move but all other gauges work fine.

2nd that ground check since you pulled the tranny. Look for broken wires.

What year is the truck??? It might need to relearn the Idle with the changes you made.
You may have to give it a little throttle to get it started and keep your foot on it and slowly let off untill you get to the point were it will Idle.

Your also going to need a tune.

Not saying this is it but make sure you didn't pinch or cut the cranks sensor wire harness when installing the trans. I've seen this happen.

I had the same thing happen with my cam install. I had a blackbear tune and it fired right up but had a nasty/rough idle. I swapped the computer for the new tune and it ran pretty good, but I still wanted to make some changes. Swapped the computers again, and it would crank but wouldn't run or idle.

update your tune.

I was just down that way in Santa Fe during Christmas.
