need help 2010 4.8l cam in dd and turbo down the road

Default need help 2010 4.8l cam in dd and turbo down the road

looking for some help with my dd 2010 crew 2wd 4.8l. lifter is making noise (stuck roller or pitted cam). so if I have to pull heads and cam. looking for some upgrade. looking to turbo later down the road. thinking of triple 12 or ls9 or ??? . Any info would help.

My vote: triple 12. I have a 220 on mine and lowend torque sucks even with 4.10s

Just give that 6.2 a little love with a cam and call it good till the 4L60 goes out. lol.

I do think for a DD with a little play the 4.8 with a turbo will be the ticket. Have you called any of the "big shops" or cam companys and see what they say?

I'm doing the same thing with my 2005 4.8. I'm going to run a sdpc ht1.
