Who ground your cam and what kind of numbers did you put down with it?This isnt too personal of a ? is it LOL. I was thinkin maybe a 230/230 with something like .580 lift is this too much?

need more info on rpm range, are the head ports stock, tuning?
I think the stock ports are efficent enough to do it with higher lift and less duration than 230 for the stock cubes

But just by looking at it if you plan on leaving around 3500 rpms I like cams like
220/226 110/107@ .050 Id be shutting the IV around 36 xer or bigger lobes
valve lift should be in the .600-650 range
a cam like this will pull hp out to around 6400 for the ls6 intake and make huge tq at 3k rpms Id be shooting for a 1.5 60ft in that light car with this cam
do a search for PatG on tech I like his cam designs
Id expect her to pull the tears out of your eyes when she leaves, plus it will have alot of street manners

Id still go along those guidelines just tone it down some tq lower is the key and a cam like the one I specd will make tons of it just drop the dcr for towing and weight purposes something like that on a 112/110 would work well with less lift and xer/xfi type lobes
