Et isnt a good judge of power gains. MPH is. Our cam gained 5mph over the orig hot cam.
Dave (the owner/driver) didnt launch as hard and cut a worse 60ft and had worse tires also. Even though he ran a worse et due to driving he gained 5mph. Thats pretty good vs another cam of similar specs.

BUT he was running our prototype. After his cam we redesigned the lobes. We have 1 dyno since then and with a 99 ls1 with stock ls1 intake and full exhaust made 376/401. Pretty salty.

hehehehehe ..... I was just being an smartarse .... I have decided that is the cam I want, but gears come first, then long tube headers and that cam.

any of you guys running a 228r cam with no stall on a 5.3? hows the driving? is it good for roll racing? how much average mpg are you getting?

You want a cam like that, we can hook you up with our high lift asa cam. A 3200+ stall and some 373s or better and it would be a HELLUVA lot of fun roll racing. It has ok manners on street, would idle like a monster too.
479 with springs this week only!
