it's not only the ecsb vs scsb thing...your also dragging around a 4x4 drivetrain with you that adds more weight.

a 220/220 and put a cheap re-stalled trailblazer converter behind it and it would be a damn stout setup.

WEIGHT WEIGHT WEIGHT. can ya see a trend going on here that people are telling, trying to explain to ya?? Your asking about cams that will require a bigger converter then you said you wanted.. Donkey dick cams in a basic bolt on truck do not mean they are going to run good.. Keep a cam in the 218-224 range on a 112lsa or tighter lsa..

Im a 4x4 and im running a 222/226 596/598 111+2 lsa.. on a 3600 and 4.10s.. honestly I wouldn't go any bigger!.. these trucks r heavy!..I went from a 217/223 549/549 113 on a 3200 converter and didn't gain much on the 1/8.. smaller cams perform much better on these heavy trucks

I actually found a truck like your scsb 2x4 with 5.7 that i am trying to get so im actually planning on putting this setup in it .... just didnt want to count my eggs before they are layed

The next size down that bullet recommended was a 220/226 .590/.585 @112 lsa.... Does this one sound a little more appropriate for my weight issue?

That second cam choice is better for sure, but your still going to want a 3k verter..
