When looking at dynos on tech look to see if its a manual or auto and what rear end and what dyno they are on, all those play a huge factor. I wouldnt worry too much about dyno numbers as they are only a little nudge of the correction factor away from being bling numbers.

WHite1 just dynoed 294rwhp but yet he runs 12.8s at 101, that isnt indicative of a 294rwhp truck. You may want to ask the guys running 408s in rcsb's what their track times are.

Is there any visual differences in a 408 and a 4.8? becasue im pretty sure those arent cali legal but as long it will pass visual and the sniffer it should be good dont you think? im would be more than happy with 500rwhp. (And sorry for hijack but didnt want to start a new thread there is a million 408 questions on the front page)
