I would heat wrap your oil filler neck. Mine melted a bit today...

crimped, But they are stock weatherpack crimps, so it's just as strong as from the factory

I spent last night helping a buddy with a fuel pump (cluster ****)

but tonight i'll have the hotside finished and the fuel system buttoned up
