Yea with a non overdrive trans and a loose converter that doesnt lock you arent going to get good mileage.

Its not in his sig but with a 80e he would need a 23" tire to get that rpm at 70. So I guessed. lol

It's an 80E with a 26" tire. Going to a 28" tire this week so may see a few more MPG's

I have 305/35/20's on it.

You need a bigger tire on the truck, will get more mpg's. I run ruffly a 29'' tire and get about 14-15 on the high way, but only 9 or so in town.

Yes. I will have 285 / 40 / 20's on this week and they are like 28.6"

This truck is just for picking on 5.0's, SS Camaro's and SRT8's on weekend...lol

Well if you are turning 3200 at 70 something is wrong. Either it isnt going into 4th or the converter isnt locking. You should be turning under 2800 at 70.

And I checked a couple different calculators and everything says 28.4 for that 305/35. Which would put you at 2550. The 285/40 is .5" taller at 28.9"

I was driving it yesterday and it was pulling like (indicated) 2900rpm @ 70. I think my main problem is my foot due to the ground shaking exhaust...
