15degrees of overlap in a daily driver cam doesnt make it a small cam...

I ran a very similar 235 239 111 lsa on 408 NA extended cab with Nelson mail order tune and it drove badass and busted off 12.3s in the 1/4. A Nelson mail order will be cheaper and give you better results than changing cams.

Okay...a little update. Could not get the truck to run right at all on a MAF setup so it has been converted to Speed Density and with a stock TB (78mm) on the 102 intake it runs decent and AFR is good everywhere.

The 92mm TB goes on tomorrow or Fri for some more tuning and will update it again then.

Where you at in Jax? I can tune it. There is also a very good tuner in town with a dyno. He does ls motors mostly.

My cam as small as it is can be made to chop. It's all in the tune.

It is at a shop right now with 2 local tuners that have been in Orange Park for 20 years.

One of the couldn't get it tuned on the MAF so rewrote it to speed density.

PM the LS guys info.

I live in south Orange park.

Thanks.

Looks like progress is being made. I heard my truck made 481rwhp in the 85% humidity Sat with 3 plug wires arcing.

New plugs wires getting ordered and hopefully I can be out soon.

Finally done...

507rwhp all motor. Idles @ 900rpm as smooth as the cam will allow (lots of lope with this cam) and gets 12mpg on the highway with a working AC.

It did lose some low end TQ with the 102 / 92 setup. I will be putting a 102 TB on next and seeing if it will improve it much.
