Default Milling stock 706 heads?

ok guys ive been searching threads and havn't really found what im looking for and i really don't have the money to buy a good set of heads right now so in the meantime i want to mill my stock 706 heads to gain a little compression, but i got 7.4 hardened push rods, so my question is what is the most i can mill off of my heads without having to got to a shorter pushrod if possible? thanks

I have 22thous off mine and running the same cam you are, but that is with stock gaskets. I would imagine 30thous and be ok. Also if you go more off the heads and run shorter pushrods 40-45 is most before you start running into manifold fitment probs..
