milling new heads or keeping them boost friendly
#1
What's up guys, like the title says I'm in a dilemma about going on a n/a max effort build or with slightly bumping the cr and running a d1 that my current cam will somewhat work with. Long story short my tfs 205s are on the way and I'm stuck between which route to choose. I can either go mill them to 52cc chambers and run a .40 ct hg for a 11.15 cr or I can keep them at 58 with stock head gaskets to keep the cr boost friendly for a roots or d1 style blower. Everything I've ever owned has been all motor I'd love to experiment since I can now afford to but all motor is a dying breed. Im currently running a pretty aggressive cam so im thinking na ill probably pick up a decent amount of power since its my trucks only restriction. But If anyone has any input please feel free to chime in
Thanks

Even with the .51 technically I'll be too high of Compression for that unless I went e85 or meth. It almost seems I might be better going n/a and possibly on a shot. Not to jack my own thread but any ideas on hp increase from competition ported heads and a jump from 9.5 to 11.15to1?

Thinking about it guys with ls2 s are running 10.5:1 on 12lbs so mabey I can get a way with a little milling and low boost. It'd probably be less of a dog out of boost as well
