It depends more ,of course,on what your valve springs/valvetrain will allow-that is usaally the deciding factor on most engines.Firstly,where does your power start to drop off?If it starts to drop off at 6500rpm you dont need to go much higher than that,IMO.also at what RPM do you start to get valve float?Look at these factors as well as others when deciding a max rpm for your engine.Todd

Went To The Track For First Time Friday 19 And I Builded My Motor Ground Up And The Bottom End Was Builded Over A Year Ago. And I Hit My 7400 High Rev A Few Time In First Gear It Is Hard To Caught It With 4.56 Gears And A 10" Verter.

YOU WILL BE FINE @ 6900 TO 7000
