It just depends on what you are going to do. If it's going to be FI I would leave it std, and all out NA I would sonic test it, and go +.070'~.100" if it will take it. From what I've seen about 1 in 3 blocks is thin even for std...

Nice times on the CC. You have that thing running strong! Saw it in the other thread, but still amazing...

im not wanting to build a stroker motor bumpers

i dunno what i want out of it yet. its just a toy...probably only get a cam/converter for my WT or a S10 build. i guess you can say if i was to put it inthe WT it was gonna get a dish piston to bring the compression down on my 243s and 90mm intake. but the 6.2 on the other hand is what id love to build into a 427 just saying.

thanks man, its good that other people notice the CC it gets no glory really. stays parke most of the time bc i work too much. your truck is the one Richard @ WCCH told me went into the 9s with 2 gears i believe. or am i mistaking you for another badass truck that drove to Texas to go to the track when Flaco went 8.x's

its just a decision i need help with bc this is gonna be an engine stand paper weight for a while since i have a couple things up my sleeves for te CC to go deeper in the 12s N/A hopefully

Yeah getting a heavy CC down in the 12's with only 370 NA CI's is doing pretty good. Thats easy 10sec power in a mid 3000LB street car...

I did tow a trailer with my truck from Co to TX, and I raced @lonestar but I think the truck they were talking about was Casey. It's a white 2wd, WCCH did his engine I think...

oh sorry...but man your truck is sweet!
my CC has a stock bottom end 6.2 with L92s stock port heads milled .020 i think thats correct (20 thousandths)

the LY6 i may be getting is a buddys short block and its a toy motor. may try and slap it in my 94 WT or maybe a S10 later in life

if i pull the 6.2 its strictly for machine work for the 427, it'd stay parked with no worries. i have a 94 wt with a 5.3/60e swap that's an awsome DD
