I know this has been brought up a million times and trust me all I do is search and read all day long.. im building a ly6 its been bored .020 over its going in a 2007 nnbs ext cab, Im using 799 heads and I really need help choosing a cam. I plan to build my 60e right after the swap and use a 3000 stall. I called tsp and they recommended a 225/230 but said id have get get better springs as mine are pac 1218 (.600) im wanting to keep these springs for budget sake. Now for my question! Im looking for a cam with a lot of lope this is my daily driver so I don't want a big a## cam but something with a very noticeable lope that doesn't have to be spun to the moon to make power. if any one can help me id greatly appreciate it thanks so much joe

 

Im building the same thing and ive seen the thread where they dynod a 6.0 with a 220 cam and I like the torque curve. I currently have the 220 in my 4.8 and its kickass.........above 4k rpm. Dont want that again considering I do 98% highway and then mine will be boosted as well so whatever the cam doesnt do the turbo will in terms of hp/trq.

 

227.235-614.621-113 tsp carries it but you will need double springs
