So I heard that someone got a new stock Z06 to run a 10.8x on slicks. I'm thinking that 7.0L must really be putting out some serious muscle to do that. Does anyone know what the OEM cam specs are on that engine? Just curious.

 

It something like 210/235 high 500 lift and on a 117 or something, those are rough figures but it has a HUGE split into the mid 230s and a wide lsa, all to pass emissions.

 

the ls7 cam is similar to the cheater cam specs

 

LS7 cam specs
211°/230° i/e .591"/.591" lift with a 1.8:1 rocker arm ratio uses 40 pph injectors with 2.20"/1.61" valves with 11.0:1

Thanks for the info. So with 1.8s that puts the lift at the valve well over .600? Pretty nasty cam for OEM.
