i guess the cam in a 53 is more docile than a 57 stock for stock so the ls6 is more beneficial in a 53?

yes it would be, the small cubic inches act different to the duration/lift of different cams... like you wouldnt want a texas giant in a ls1... it works better for the cubes of a 400+ci motor

Sure, as long as they're 918's made for a Gen III engine.

mine is installed dot to dot
runs great no issues with lack of bottomend even on 3.42 gears

i have not run it at the track but sotp tells me 30-40 hp gain
