It may just be the engine.
time to replace it.
maybe a 408 or even splurge for a 427 or something fun.

why spend that kind of money when i could boost a junkyard 5.3 for less money and make more power?

both of the ws6 cars are “investments.” I see the value going through the roof in the next 15 years. They are already on the rise and will only get better as the others get parted out. I have 4k invested in the black one and 3k into the white one so far. I intend to keep them cheap and oem stock. I’m actually planning on finding factory exhaust for the whife one. The black one has borla. Hell i think i can sell the wheels, hoods, tail lights and the known good motor and pay myself back for both cars as they sit.

Nice collection. My first car was a 67 mustang coupe, 6cyl/at, had it painted guards red...those were the days.

Oh, right. I didn't think of that. You must have good oxygen flow to your brain.
That reminds me of my '67 Chevy that the guy sold me because of a similar noise. One of the screws that hold the bail for the air filter to the carburetor was stuck to the top of a piston.

It's ok, with a little help from some 2x8s your 2wd can be as successful as mine.

4X4's are for yankees and banjo picking hillbillies that live in the woods. If you're neither... 4X4's are just unnecessary parasitic draws, to much maintenance and poor fuel mileage.

On the engine noise let's get them valve covers off... then we'll talk lol
