Will they work? Definitely. Which heads are they? I'm gonna do the same soon. I'm going with 241 heads only Cuzz I have two broken exhaust bolts in my current heads and wanna blow my trucks up every time I start it Cuzz the annoying leak.

they will fit and they will drop your compression ratio and not breath any better. If you find some 243's or 799 castings and mill them down to keep at least stock CR you'll do fine. Otherwise SKIP it.

Have you guys tried the search feature? There must be over 100 threads regarding heads and 5.3L engines.

I found this link for you. They have 66cc chambers vs. your 61cc chambers in the truck heads so your compression will go down and they both flow the same so I wouldn't do it. If you want to do heads I'd find a set of 243's and get them milled or run thinner gaskets to get compression back up. Hope this helps.
