There's a better chance I'll go w/. 20's than see a white zebra. Never heard that one...white zebra.
I don't think it was the wheels as much as the 285s on all 4 corners. The 285s dwarf the stock tires.

Get some lightweight Centerline 20's and you'll probably gain in the power and efficiency department. The Centerlines that I was window shopping last night were all between 24 and 28 pounds for chrome or polished aluminum 20's...wish I had the dough Now my Gibbs 20's on the other hand...they're like having 4 round anchors in the corners, makes a big difference in the braking performance also.

the Centerline's are lighter, I weighed the Escalade's and they were 28lbs each.

Yea, besides being wider they're about an inch and a half taller...about 3/10" taller than my 285/50-20's

Yep, that's pretty much the point that I was trying to make....I like the Centerline Ultra Series "Voltage", it's a 5 spoke and weighs 24 lbs in either chrome or polished. I like polished but it's a bitch to maintain...chrome is easier but costs $150 more per wheel! (I can't afford em either way, but it's nice to dream )

I think they are 64cc stock so add .7cr to the Lq4's 9.4 and it should be around 10.1 with the same gasket.

Ya, a 10-1 6.0 with a mild cam would be very noticeable.
