Default lower compression good for STS turbo?????

Well I'm going to be getting a sts rear mount turbo and I was talkin to a few people and they say dished pistons are better for the turbo so it gives the engine less chance of "messing up" is this true? Would it be better to put the sts on an LQ9 or LQ4?? Since one one has flat top pistons and one has dished, thanks

You will want lower compression to run more boost. Dish pistons are the way to go. That what I'm doin

R u gonna stroke yours?

I am going to go with an STS also, gt70.

Its always better to go lower compression when adding any type of forced induction. I am running 8.5:1 compression with my STS and its allowed me to run up to 18# of boost so far

Damn 18#s sounds sweet, ok then, I think ima start looking for a lq4 instead of an lq9 like I had originally planned

What size motor are you gonna run Black. That 70 will have a good bit of lag unless you have some cubes to spool it up. I have a gt-67 and have not maxed it out yet and it is in the 600 rwhp range at 12 psi with no I/C and very little timing. It seem ideal for the street and track.
