I know most people hate this cam but if performance isnt an issue did you ever consider the ASA cam? Not sure of its specs other than 110 lsa but I know it has a reletively mild lift compared to most and has one hell of an idle.

Yessir, and it will fit trenz68's requirements at 228/236 525/525 on a 110 lsa, it will have a mean lope and be kind to the valvetrain. Get some LS6 springs and you're good to go If it's the same price as the Hot Cam, then it's relatively dirt cheap

thanks budhayes3. Im going to look into this cam. More money friendly than the thumper cam

 

i once had a 228/230 588/600 111+2 lsa and it sounded awsome

 

the asa cam is going to have one nasty idle with the 110 lsa and lazy lobes.
