Do you have a real daily driver or is this truck the only thing you can drive?

Thats the thing i have my z28 my tahoe and my silverado. plus in the market for a stripped chevy sonic lol. If its not going to be like a CADY or Mercedes im fine with that. Im just looking to have one hell of a nasty Silverado all motor. Its one of those I feel like pissing off the neighborhood tonight trucks. And messing with vettes and camaros. It will be mostly for highway 35 to 135 roll racing some stuff at the track but not much.

If thats the case, then get crazy. Big *** cam, converter, and top end will make a mean NA setup.

It's going in a 408, not a 6.0 or a 5.3. Is it big, yes, but not overly so if it's going to be a play truck. Patrick G was talking putting a low 230's cam in a 408 for towing with my crew cab. It will need more compression, like high 10:1's or maybe even go to 11:1, that will help the low end some and make it scream up top. The stall would work well with that cubes and cam size, just match the gears to go with the rest of the combo.

Yea its for a 408 11.0.1 compression good heads/intake to let it breath. Longtubes and cutouts (maybe) Thought I might try 4.88 for the rear sounds kinda fun. Wont have to much top end but can always change if I dont like them. Might try to make 11.5s my goal shouldnt be to hard we'll see.
