Makes sense to me. So you're running a 78mm intake, stock '02 fuel system, and stock exhaust system (manifold back) on a heads/cammed 6.0.

I wouldn't run patriot anything, except maybe their dual valve springs. I would never run a reverse split cam. That said, you've still got a choked and under-fueled engine. Im not surprised its dissapointing.

The 80e with the 4x4 drivetrain is going to eat power also.

Id also like to know who tuned it

Allen Nelson tuned it, but none of this is his fault. The truck runs and drives great. I told him to tune it so I can drive it till I get the turbo stuff. Plus when I had it tuned I had a full tank of 89. Not sure how much of a difference that will make. He did say the exhaust is choked up and the injectors where maxed out. I'm just mostly disappointed in the low end. I actually tried to buy a triple 12 cam back when I assembled the engine, but could not contact Stock48 at the time. The cam that I'm running now was speced out in 04/05. The reverse split used to be popular then. Should I go with a triple 12 and leave the heads or go back to the stock 317? Again thanks for the replies.

another cheapish thing you could do is mill the heads some to boost the compression to like 10:1. should still be fine with boost but help with over all power. im really thinking the cam is whats holding you back.

if you re cam im thinking ether vinci trucker high lift or BTR truck stage 3 cam. also if you get the BTR cam see if you can get it done by cam motion and one of their higher end blanks depending on the price. i just don't trust comp cam any more.

Id proceed with the turboing. Swap the cam for something more optimal down the road.
