Default limits of 5.3 internals

I'm new to the truck thing. What are the limits of the stock internals in a 5.3? Mine is supercharged (Rotrex) not even close to pushing it right now and I'd like to know before I start pushing it.

"parish8" has gone 600rwhp stock internals 5.3 for a while with the fuel to feed it, tune, and z06 cam with a lot of track passes on it. So probably around there somewhere.

very cool. I'm planning to push this thing to around 500ish. It's not a daily driver but will get driven quite a bit and due some short trip Camaro towing duty.

we are officialy into the "countless" runs on the 5.3 turbo set up. on drag week we made 50runs in a week. 20 just on friday. we had to leave the track and go fill up the car mid day. took it bracket racing last friday and put another 10 runs on it.

i am going to have to say 600rwhp isn not living too close to the edge. at some point it would be fun to see how far it can go before failing.

WOW!! I know a truck engine is supposed to handle some abuse, but that's insane

THese Internals are pretty much bullet proof. Only problems come if you run too lean. #7 piston likes to grenade then.
