Hi all,
I'm giving a how-2 speech for speech class on how to replace the lifters in a gen III engine (which I've done before, it's just been a while), but I need a little backgound info to go along with it. One piece of info I was going to give was the difference in the types of lifters used btwn the gen I and the gen III engines. I'm not sure what type the gen I engines used though. Is it a hydraulic lifter?
Gen I: hydraulic ?
Gen II: unsure, hydraulic ?
Gen III: roller ?
I just want to be sure. Any other info you feel should be added, plz feel free to add.
Thanks a ton!

gen III's are all roller. Factory gen I and II are hydraulic I belive, but you can put roller lifters in a gen I or II if you swap to roller rockers to. Im not 100% sure on that info though, so take it with a grain of salt. But I do know that all gen III's are roller
