Default Knock Sensor DTC

First time to post here. My truck is throwing the knock sensor code. Don't hear anything from anywhere on the motor. Just curious if the cam might causing this or if the sensor is bad. Thanks in advance!!!

what year truck? Ifs the gen III then water most likely got into the knock sensor hole under the intake manifold. Causing it to rust and go bad. Swapping it isn't all to bad. I would also get the knock sensor subharness. I have a part number for it somewhere. Ill look for it and let you know. A haynes manual helps alot.
And welcome to the forum.

It's a 01. Can't remember the code. I'll run it and post back. Just getting annoying. Overtime it throws the code it pulls timing

Ok guys it is the P0327. Haven't had a chance to look to see if it is rusted out or whatever. Is that something I can see with the intake on??

No sir, you have to pull the intake off to inspect it...might want to get the knock sensors, sub harness, and some RTV so that you're ready to go when you get it apart. There is a TSB, and a few threads around here, that outline how to build a dam of RTV around the knock sensor connectors to help prevent water intrusion into the knock sensors and their connectors
