Hey guys, just picked up my new motor for my 69'. I'm gonna be ordering my pistons/rods soon, but just picked up a set of AFR 205 as-cast cylinder heads. I'll be adding the ferrea 2.02/1.60 valves, patriot valve spring kit with titanium retainers etc. Anyone have any experience with these "as-cast" heads? The motor will be an LS1 bore/4.8 stroke (312ci) with custom grind cam (looking at 224/236 @.050 .585/.595 lift on 114lsa) and a Kenne Bell 2.6 (maybe 2.8 ) @12psi. If these as-cast ports flow well enough I'll use them as is, just get a valve job on em. Any idea's guys? Can't wait to get this thing started!!
