The LS1 casts dont flow as well. What you would gain in compression you would loose with the poor flow when compared to the 317 6.0 heads. IMO.

 

Thats what I've heard too. I was planning on using my P&P 5.3 heads on my 6.0, but the flow and valve sizes tell me it doesnt make any sense. So I was going to just shave the heads to boost the compression to the LQ9 compression, but I think I'm just gonna keep it stock

 

what about the 01-02 camaro heads are they as good as the 6.0 heads
