Maybe the FMIC is obstructing airflow to the radiator too much. Is there any way you can reposition the FMIC or mount some type of scoop just below the rad to direct more air to it?

It's a brand new radiator so there shouldn't be any issues....

Haven't checked the heater core...

This could be but I didn't have any issues before boring it out and I was running a lot more boost. I'm only running 3-4 psi right now and I was running 9-11 before.

just for arguments sake, bypass the heater.

like I said in that PM, mine wanted to creep up at idle, but once I ran the hell out of it I didnt have any more issues. I'm sure I had air somewhere and it was cavitating... who knows.

lemme know what comes of it

They come on high at 197 I think. I just put in a 160 stat and am having it re-tuned tomorrow to come on sooner.

I installed the 160 stat and got a retune to turn the fans on earlier and so far temps have been much cooler (174-188). However, average temps here aren't in the triple digits anymore either. Testing may have to be postponed until next summer....but as of now everything is doing better!
