You're kinda putting the cart in front of the horse on this one. Nobody can knowledgeably recommend anything until after it's torn down & inspected, and some parts measured.

Unless one of you has that new Snap-On crystal ball I've been hearing about...

Well I'm starting the removal process. Got the starter out and torque converter bolts out, all sensors are either removed or unplugged. For the trans. Should I just drop it out or should I keep it in? Any other tips or tricks for the engine removal? I found out that I had to remove the front bumper for the 1 ton hoist to be able to reach all the way back. Truck has a leveling kit and even with the keys backed all the way out it seems like the truck may still be too tall. Maybe remove the front tires and lower the front end down.
