i think i wanna bigger cam!!!!

Default i think i wanna bigger cam!!!!

so here is what i have..... i have a copy( not a regrind, new cam core) of a 02 ls6 cam, but on a 114lsa. 204/218 .550/.550 114. with my supporting mods below, my truck runs GREAT!! Im just wanting to get a little bit bigger cam. im torn between the tr220 on a 114, or to do the 216/220?? with the 216/220, i will be losing some lift, but gain alot of duration on the intake side. Any suggestions? One of my big things is keeping it drivable out of town. I live in houston, and my folks live in ft. worth. i wanna be able to hop in and haul *** up there with no issues. truck drives great on trips right now. gimme some input fellas!!!

That would be a little hotter cam but, he can get by with his old springs with the old school TR220. And yes 112 fo sho!

Anything more than your current cam and part throttle power will suck IMO. Id go more cubes before I went more cam unless you are just wanting more sound. Im very picky about part throttle response though.

more cubes isnt an option right now, also will be getting some 243s within a few months
