if the valve is in the cylinder that would account for the 5 reading. lol.

You may have other problems.. With the Patriots being dual springs and say just the outside spring was broke I would think you would have more compression than that.. Could have a bad ring, piston or both springs are broke.. Go pull that cover..

I work at 430 am Tom so I'm going to get that stripped bolt off and pull that cover tomorrow... I'm just going to say a little bedtime prayer that I get lucky

Saw two broken inner springs on set of Gold's last week. The cam was .650 ish lift though, so not too sure why they used them in the 1st place. Car had missfires on both cylinders broken springs. Lunati has a new set out that look pretty swell.

use a dremel to cut off the head.

I've never heard of that. Is that anywhere in writing, is it just your rule of thumb, or something that you've been told?


I have a buddy that broke all 8 intake springs from using the stock spring seats vs the ones that have come in the kit.
