Yea compression really seems to wake these motors up and since I already ported the heads I figured what the hell. Cheap horsepower is good horsepower. Esp when most of these cams seem to kill dcr a bit on an already lower comp motor. I should be at 10.5-10.6 to 1 now roughly

 

I might try keeping the zo6 cam and see what happens. I dont have much $$ right now and pushrods are pretty cheap. Could I upgrade the rockers for more lift?
