Also this might help me with this issue. I was tunning it to turn the cats on in the truck, since I took the converters off, and we turned off the AFM so it wouldn't drop cylinders. I don't know if this cause more harm then good. But I just want to figure out what my options are.

it would have to be 20 grand since that is still how much I owe on the truck
I made the mistake of signing a 5 year note enstead of a 3 year note like I was wanting to.

SDPC can hook you up with everything u need to do the dod delete for under $475, probably cheaper. hell ill send u a stock cam if u cover the shipping. There is tons of info on here to do it. I say do the dod delete, put in a stock cam and roll. Whats the oil psi like out of curiosity?

See that is the other thing. Oil preasure is perfect! stays the same under throttle and stays the same at idle.

Took it to a mechanic friend as well. We did new plugs, wire, injectors, and throttle body.
He said he wont mess with it anymore because that usually fixes a missfire, and my dad who knows more then I do said he has no idea. I'm just completly speechless on what to do with it.

if i were you, i would start with changing your oil and cutting open the filter and see if any metallic particles are in it. IF i remember correctly, GM had some issues with the older NNBS
lifters.

sounds like a lifter/cam issue. DOD delete, new cam/lifters and be done with it!!
