Default How would it run??

Since i messed up my ls1 i was thinkin about puttin my set up in a 5.3... I was wondering how is it gonna run?? What can i expect at the 1/8 and 1/4??
I appreciate any advice and input
To start off its a 06 5.3 with 57k miles the cam is a 227/234 .588 .581 116, ported 706's which im thinking of milling them .30, tbss stall, stock tranny and stock rear end...

And later i plan to add milled/ported 243's pacesetter lt's 3" y and a borla xr-1, built tranny, 3200 stall, 4.10's with true trac... What can i expect after this is all done??

I dont know thats gonna be an awful big cam on the small of a converter. I think if it were me I would hold off and put it in with the built tranny and new converter. I would think something closer to a 4k stall would be more appropriate though.

Thats just a pretty big cam for a 5.3. I think I would go with a 3600 minimum and maybe even a 4k. The power band shifts higher for the cam the smaller the motor so you need a bigger converter to get you in the power band quicker and keep you there. Also, I think the 706's even ported and polished would be a restriction because they are going to lose flow in the higher rpm range where that cam would be making the biggest numbers. Just my 2 cents. There are many other guys on here that could help you a lot more and have "been there done that".
