how much does a usual port polish and mill of the heads go for? ive been callin around some places and thier charging close to a grand to do all this ...is it pretty much 1000 o are they rippin me off?

 

The overall cost depends on the amount of porting and related parts ie. larger stainless steel valves and valve springs. Our Stage 1 ported heads usually run about $850.00 parts and labor. Our Stage 2 CNC ported heads run about $1300.00 parts and labor because we do more work to the heads and upgrade the springs to dual. Those are prices based on rewoking your heads or exchanging cores with ours.
