Default How much $ to make 500hp-600lbtq on a 6.0

Im wondering how much money it would take to make 500crank hp and 600 crank torque on a 6.0L with out nitrous, blower or turbo, it would have a 4L80E behind it if that matters.

Thanks

A good start would be a 4" crankshaft and 4.030" bore. Go from there, because after you have a 408ci, 500hp is fairly easy to come by and so is the torque.

$500-$1000..........................................a + full nitrous bottle.

You want 500/600 NA from a 6.0? Not impossible but I'd say a lot of guys running (modified) super/turbo chargers are around that mark.

500 N/A on a 6.0L, with heads and a big cam might get you close to 500hp, but probably not. i don't think you can do it without a power adder, especially through a 4l80e.

he's talking about flywheel horsepower.....500crank would equal somewhere around 420ish through a 4l80e I believe, I've dyno'd at 407rwhp through a 4l60e with a bummed tune and a truck intake on a mustang dyno. LQ9 with dart pro1heads and a custom ground 232/236 cam are my basics.

Somewhere around $5000 dollars for aggressive h/c, fast 90/90 combo, and all the bolt-ons. That should net you the results you are looking for.

I spent $40,000+ to hit the 600 rwtq mark. Depends on how roundabout of a direction you take
