i want to get the same cam mention before (212 218) but have the lsa grinded down to 112. my main concern is i plan to run nitrous starting next spring and i read a lower lsa is bad for fuel/air mixture so would that mean it would be a bad choice? the real reason for the cam swap is for sound and then power but i still want to run nitrous.

It's bad for FORCED air induction because putting the lobes closer together increases the intake valve lift overlapping the exhaust valve closing and forced air really pushes through the valves at low lift, I guess.

Anyways, nitrous would be great on a 112 or 114, 115. Like dude said back on page 2 or so, try advancing your ICL.

Speaking of ICL...

The Comp 212 218 high lift that I just bought has the ICL set at 115. I'm going to start out with a 109 or so, unless you guys have some other ideas.

What advance are you guys using with the .563 cam?
