How bad is it? retorque rockers...
#1
Well i realized just the other day that i never roatated my motor to retorque the rockers.
I put em in torqued em to 22in lbs and went on about my way.
Question is how bad or what could happen from this?
Is it that important to rotate the motor then retorque em?

I don't think you torqued them down to 22 in lbs...maybe ft lbs

All the cam swaps I have done I have never had a problem with just tq'ing them to 22ft-lbs except for once with ap2002's truck, just put some loctite on em and tq'ed em down again and it was fine until he pulled the motor.

Here's what I recommend:
1. Torque all 16 rockers to 22 foot pounds.
2. Rotate crank 1/2 revolution and retorque to 22 foot pounds.
3. Repeat step 2 two more times.
Blue Locktite is optional. The reason you want to rotate is to take the pressure off the spring/pushrods that are being compressed by the cam lobe so that you can properly torque (set up the clamping force) onthe rocker arm assembly. It's good that you thought about this. Likely, you've done no harm.
